Only a mile walk to town, Morning View is centrally located while being a serene place to recharge after a day outdoors. The space Morning View is a stunning home in the heart of Kernville, a quaint town with western vibes in the Sierra Nevadas. The Kern River can be heard from the front yard at the top of the day and guests are only a short drive to Sequoia National Forest, the river, and Lake Isabella. For guests seeking to visit Sequoia National Park, note that the Ash Mountain entrance is roughly 100 miles from our home. Enjoy 180° mountain views during the day, then roll down the privacy shades during evening hours. Unwind in cozy quarters with ample space for all. A bunk room boasts two sets of twin bunks and a sound machine. The adjacent guest room is appointed with a queen four-poster bed and desk. Towards the end of the hall, rest in a primary bedroom offering a king bed, bedside lamps for evening reading, and en-suite bathroom. All beds are dressed in 100% cotton sheets and Quince linen or cotton duvets for your comfort. A den opposite the primary bedroom is a fantastic place for kids to gather and play games. The sofa converts to a queen bed and is available for guest use if requested at time of booking. The laundry room is stocked with unscented detergent. Once washed, feel free to use the dryer or the clothesline to dry your items in the sunshine. After enjoying the day and all that our beautiful area has to offer, rinse off under the blue skies of the Kern River Valley in our outdoor shower.
