Escape the hustle & bustle at this comfortable and newly remodeled home on Hartley Lake in Brainerd. Walk right out to the beach for sunshine and relaxation, or hop on one of the paddle boards or kayaks, for a bit of fitness. A large yard that’s perfect for a game of badminton, volleyball, bags, or just an evening bonfire. A perfect location for those that want to catch a race at BIR, a beer at one of the local breweries, boutique shopping in Nisswa, or just a fun time at the lake. Check us out! The space Each level includes a large living area with a Smart TV, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a walk in shower. We provide shampoo, conditioner, as well as body and face wash. From the upstairs living room you have access to the deck that faces the lake with stairs leading to the lake. It has an outdoor dining table and a Weber gas grill. It’s a great place to have a meal, read a book, sip your morning coffee and listen to the loons, or just relax with an adult beverage while enjoying the view. From the downstairs living area you have direct access to the outdoor fire pit, and the beach. There’s also a small patio with Adirondack chairs if you just want to relax outside in the shade. We do spray for mosquitoes! Being it’s Minnesota they’re still out, but it’s much better in our yard because of this! We do have bug spray too! Downstairs is a wet bar that has a Keurig coffee maker and coffee for your morning joe. There’s also an ice maker, bar tools, and a beverage refrigerator. It’s just a quick walk from the beach or fire pit to grab a drink. For those who like to get out on the water for a little exercise we have a canoe, two kayaks, and four paddle boards. If you like to stay closer to shore we have water toys, floaties, and a Paddle North floating dock. We have a variety of life jacket sizes too, infant to 2X. We have a variety of outdoor games including: croquet, bags (aka corn hole), badminton, volleyball, ladder ball, axe throwing (plastic), jenga, and yard Yahtzee. There are also 4 adult and 2 kids bikes. If it happens to be rainy or you've just had enough time outside, we've converted our attached garage into a game room with a full size air hockey table and shuffleboard. If you're traveling with children we do have a pack n play, high chair, baby bathtub, kids dishes, toys, puzzles and games. We're a short drive to both downtown Nisswa and downtown Brainerd if you just want to get out and do some shopping. Guest access Hartley Lake is a private lake that doesn’t allow outside motor craft. We have canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards for use. We’re also very close to numerous other lakes with public access should you want to bring your boat to the area. Unlimited options for fun in the area! Other things to note The caretakers do offer pontoon boat rides. These can be customized to your needs, but they do need to be booked in advance and directly with them. If interested in this option, please let me know and I will put you in contact with them.
