Other things to note Cozy Cub is located in the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains, and mountain living comes with a few unique considerations. Quiet mountain neighborhood Please respect our neighbors by keeping outdoor noise to a minimum, especially during evening hours. Parties and events are not permitted. Parking Private, paved parking is available for up to five vehicles. Street parking is limited, so please plan accordingly. Fire safety Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the property. Wrightwood is located in a high fire-risk forest, and we appreciate your help protecting this beautiful community. Winter weather If you're visiting during the winter months, mountain weather can change quickly. Snow shovels are provided, but snow removal cannot be guaranteed during an active storm. Road conditions occasionally require tire chains or four-wheel drive. Please check the weather and Caltrans road conditions before traveling, and be prepared for winter driving if snow is forecast. Walk carefully during freezing weather, as decks, walkways, and driveways may become icy. Mountain life One of the things we love most about Wrightwood is that it's still wonderfully wild. Occasionally, severe weather, wildfires, flooding, or utility maintenance may result in temporary road closures, evacuation warnings, power outages, or internet interruptions. While these situations are uncommon, they are part of life in a mountain community and are outside of any host's control. If weather or other events are expected to affect your reservation, we'll communicate with you as quickly as possible and share any information available to us. Wildlife—including bears, deer, squirrels, raccoons, and other forest visitors—also calls Wrightwood home. Please keep food secured and never approach or feed wildlife. If anything comes up during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible. We genuinely want you to have a wonderful experience, and we'll do everything we reasonably can to help.
