Charming cottage with hot tub surrounded by tranquility

Welcome to La Chouette. A wooden cottage in the forest, with a wood-fired hot tub and fantastic views of the rolling hills. La Chouette offers all the privacy to enjoy the tranquility and the nature. Dark is also really dark, so you can enjoy a beautiful starry sky, but also the call of the owls. Hence the name La Chouette! The house is built by us with an eye for detail. Feel welcome and come experience it for yourself, we would love to host you! The space We newly built this wooden cottage in 2024, with an eye for detail. For example, there is a spacious living room with open ridge and adjoining kitchen. There is a separate bedroom with a double bed (160-200), a sink and an en-suite walk-in shower plus a separate toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers everything you might need. There are games, reading supplies and information about what to do in the area. Outdoors, too, it's a great place to relax; there are several seating areas, (natural) shaded spots, a veranda with mood lighting, and a wood-fired hot tub that can also be used as a plunge pool on hot summer days! So both during the day and in the evening you can fully enjoy the outdoors. Watching the sun set is special every day. Area: This nature cottage is located in the Corrèze department, bordering the Dordogne, between the villages of Beyssac and Troche. The area is characterized by a lovely hilly landscape, apple groves, forest, lakes and streams. Explore the area on foot, by bike or MTB, for the experienced cyclist! The various routes are well marked, one of which also runs along la chouette. So you can start and end from your vacation home. Canoeing can be in the Vezere, cool off in the lake of Vigeois or just down the road in Rouffiac. In addition to unspoilt nature, it also bursts with the history and authentic villages here. Definitely worth a visit are Uzerche, Segur le Chateau and the Sunday market in Objat. At 5 minutes by car you can go to Pompadour for groceries, restaurants, etc. We are always available for any questions/tips. Guest access The cottage and outdoor area are completely private! Other things to note Included in the price are linens and towels. WiFi is available, making it certainly possible to work from La Chouette. Upon arrival, the bed is made and for the first days, coffee (Nespresso) and tea are provided. Besides our own family, with two girls, there are also some animals walking around. We have a number of chickens, two Kune Kune pigs (Joekel and Bommel), a dog Peppe, and two cats. The famous Limousin cows also regularly walk in the meadow you look out over.
