Great for family vacations or friend groups. The space Important: This is a shared-home stay (not a private/whole-house rental) You will be renting one private bedroom in our family-occupied home. We (the homeowners) live here full-time and personally manage the Airbnb rooms. Guest area — You’ll have access only to your bedroom, the shared guest bathroom(s), the entryway/hallway leading to the guest rooms, and the shared spaces including the living room, kitchen (upon 24 hour request for larger meals), Piano lounge, and the Poolroom/Solarium. Recently (2026) the pump for the pool broke so the pool is closed and under maintenance. The room however is available for use for smoking and viewing the beautiful plants we have and the great nature view outside. Private family area — The rest of the house (including the entire 2nd floor) is our family’s private living space and is strictly off-limits to guests at all times. Gated separation — The guest hallway/entryway and bedrooms are gated off from the family’s shared living spaces for everyone’s privacy and comfort. Pets — We have family pets living with us in our private areas and shared spaces. The pets never have access to the guest bedrooms, bathrooms, or hallways — they stay completely separate from the guest spaces. This setup allows us to offer comfortable, private guest rooms while still living in and caring for our home. You’ll have everything you need for a pleasant stay in your own dedicated area, with full respect for everyone’s privacy and boundaries. Feel free to ask any questions — we’re happy to clarify! Guest access Guests have access to designated shared bathroom, backyard and driveway. During your stay Any questions can be answered through the app. My husband is usually home and is happy to help in any way. Other things to note The house is from the 1950's, well kept but under constant improvement. All doors in the house are pocket sliding doors . Please do not slam and bang doors , sometimes they dont line up just right due to humidity fluctuations. if you are someone who must lock every door behind them then there's probably isn't the place for you. There are cats and dogs kept behind gates within the house. Shared spaces are shared with pets. Door to the room only locks from the inside. the pool is accessible to own guests but will not be heated during nice weather so if you require the pool to be heated , 24 hours advance notice minimum is required to heat 33,000 gallons of water and will be accompanied by a fee
