Subsequently, the building was converted into a farm: breeding of dairy cows and trout, both highly productive. To date, however, after a renovation process, the Carloni Family has returned to the valley what has become a Maso from an industrial agricultural structure: a land property incorporated with livestock breeding and family home, re-embracing the fundamental elements of the traditional rural architecture of the Giudicarie Esteriori, to be precise Comano, to harmonize it with the landscape context. Inside what was once a peat drying warehouse and later became a barn, a hospitality business has been created with heated volumes used as rooms with breakfast. The barn is characterized, inside, by large open but covered spaces, protected like a real barn, panoramic windows that create continuity between the outside and the inside and vice versa. The Torbiera therefore reappropriates the barn that slowly returns in harmony with the landscape, while guests are in turn hosted by the warm volumes inside the barn of the Maso. One of Fiavè's main points of interest is the Museum of the Pile Dwellings in combination with the Archeo Natura Park where the reconstruction of a pile-dwelling site is located. This combination celebrates the archaeological heritage of the Neolithic period. Included in the UNESCO site of the prehistoric pile dwellings of the Alpine arc, it allows you to discover the history of the ancient populations that inhabited the area, now included in a protected natural area of about 80 hectares (La Torbiera di Fiavé).
