Windows on the stars

In a still uncontaminated village in southern Tuscany, Casa di Morena was built on the walls of the ancient castle of Gerfalco. Recently renovated, it has furnishings that blend multiple styles together in a unique balance of shapes and colors. And from the bedroom windows it offers a unique view of the starry sky. Gerfalco is located in a strategic position to reach very suggestive places: from Siena to Pisa to Florence; from S. Gimignano to Volterra. And it is 40 minutes from the sea. The space The apartment is on two floors for 120 square meters: on the ground floor a large room with a fireplace, the kitchen, a characteristic wooden mezzanine for reading with a possible bed. And finally a bathroom. On the first floor two bedrooms overlooking the sky, a study and a second bathroom. Guest access In addition to the spacious two-story apartment, guests can also enjoy a small outdoor space, equipped with a table and chairs. It is located at the entrance of the house, under an arch and next to a fountain in the heart of the village of Gerfalco. Other things to note To get to Casa di Morena you have to walk a few hundred meters because cars are not allowed in the village. If guests have difficulty transporting luggage we have a small vehicle available that can arrive at the entrance door of the apartment.
