We are not a property mgmt co., we have created and maintain the property ourselves. We have stayed in those places and understand the original premise of Airbnb. We live next door, and communication and help, when you need it, will always be our priority. We are not trying to overcharge or take you for every penny. We have a wonderful little extra place that we have created with love and care. And we would love to share it with you. We have a 4pm check in time, but this can be negotiable. We clean both of our Airbnb spaces ourselves. On some days they may both need to be flipped, but this is not always the case. If you would like an earlier check in time, just simply ask. We can let you know if that is a possibility. Myhusband and I have hosted and Airbnb from our home next door since 2019. We inherited this home in 2022. We couldn't part with the place, so we decided to share it with you. Enjoy the charm of our home built in 1949! Unique and antique furnishings. Lots of character. My husband and I have a love of old things. It’s not a swanky modern home, but a clean and comfortable place to stay. The whole place is yours to relax and enjoy. 2 Private bedrooms, both with queen beds. Foldable queen bed in the living room closet for 2 additional guests. Private bathroom complete with towels, toiletries, and hair dryer. Full large kitchen, full refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. Coffee and tea provided. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook, including oils and spices. Drip coffee maker and tea kettle. In the warmer months we have a screened in porch on the front for you to enjoy. There is a private backyard with a swing and plenty of seating around the gas fire pit. We also have a outdoor table and grill for your use as well. Come and go as you please. We are always available to text/call 24/7. You need not interact with us if privacy is what you seek. We believe when you're away from home you shouldn't have to clean. We charge a modest cleaning fee. We ask that you put everything back where you found it, if you have a few dishes (not every dish in the house) 😂 just leave them in the sink. We do have a dishwasher, we ask if there is a full load to just start it before you leave, so it will be finished before the next guest. Leave towels in the bathtub, we will take care of the rest :) The home contains statues and knickknacks that were salvaged from the original home. Many of these pieces are one of a kind. We decided to display them for your pleasure. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THEM FROM THE SHELVES OR USED THEM. They are display pieces only. Please know that if they are broken or missing they will be costly for you to replace. The space sleeps 6 guests, but keep in mind there is only one bathroom :) Washer and dryer in the basement for your use as well. We do allow children, but have had problems in the past. If children are staying, the house is not childproof. Please be mindful of the oven and cupboards children can get into. We will add additional charges for any damages incurred by lack of child supervision. Please let us know exactly how many guests will be in your party upon booking. This helps us with setting the space up for your stay. We may charge you for any unapproved number of guests. No parties. Guests with allergies and related medical issues and/or sensitivities- cleanliness is one of our top priorities however we are unable to 100% guarantee that the apartment is free of pet dander, air fresheners/cleaning product scents, and any other elements that may trigger a medical problem or sensitivity. If you have severe allergies, asthma, or a sensitivity, please let us know prior to making a reservation. Also note that we cannot issue refunds due to the reasons above. We DO NOT allow pets or animals of any kind. We like to maintain an animal free space for everyone. Come as you are, all are welcome here. Smoking is allowed outside only. We do have a screened in porch on the front, we ask that you do not smoke in there. We are 420 friendly, no problem, as long as it is outside. We are the neighbors to your right, and rather separated, but we ask that you are respectful to the other neighbors when playing music etc. excessive noise or parties are not allowed. This is an older established community. Closer to the old manufacturing part of town, which is now being redeveloped. We have lived here 25 years, we know all of our neighbors very well. Please be aware of check-in and out times. We are booked back to back usually. If you would like to check in early, feel free to ask. If you are not checked out by 12pm, we may request late check out funds after your stay. We do not charge a deposit, but if items are missing or damaged, we will charge you to have them replaced. We ask that you respect all of the items within the space we have offered you to use. We do charge an additional 10$ per guest afyer 4 guests, for cleaning, as we have been left large messes with large groups. We do have a firm cancellation policy. Please read the details before booking. We unfortunately, have been taken advantage of in the past. Please do not expect or request a refund if you are not due one under our policy. It is the guests responsibility to cancel reservations in a timely manner. Guest access There is parking for one car in the driveway, but there is plenty of street parking as well. There is a smart deadbolt on the front door. You will be given the code the morning of check in. Simply touch the screen for the numbers to light up, enter the code followed by the # sign. You will not be given a key to the side door off the kitchen. We ask that you lock it when you leave, and the front door is always available for entry with the code. Come and go as you please. The front door will automatically lock after 5 minutes. Keep this in mind when making multiple trips.
