Upstairs, two stylish bedrooms and a brass-fixtured bathroom ensure restful nights. Dog-friendly and brimming with charm, this retreat is your peaceful countryside haven. The space Banksia Cottage greets you with its classic Cotswold stone exterior, eggshell-blue door, and rustic dry stone wall. At the back, a private parking spot and garden await, perfect for unwinding outdoors. Inside, timeless style meets modern comforts—like a sleek kitchen and cosy fireplace—right in the Cotswolds’ heart. The ground floor blends comfort and Cotswold charm effortlessly. A bright kitchen glows with natural light through cottage windows, equipped with sleek surfaces and top-notch appliances for easy meals. Nearby, the living area’s exposed stone fireplace and wood-burning stove radiate warmth—perfect for unwinding. A dog bed by the fire keeps your pup cosy too. Garden: While we are a dog-friendly property, please note that the garden is not secured and leads directly onto the driveway, which in turn leads to the road. Parking: Please note that there is a space big enough for one vehicle behind the cottage. There is strictly no parking in front of the cottage, as this will block access for our neighbours. Guest access Guests will have access to all areas of the house. We may have private cupboards for housekeeping, which will be easily identified. Other things to note At Banksia, we want to ensure you have a cosy and enjoyable stay with us! During the cooler months, from October to March, we’re happy to provide firewood to help you get that perfect fire going. We do our very best to supply enough firewood for your first night’s stay during this time—think of it as our warm welcome to you! However, since keeping up with an unlimited supply isn’t quite feasible for us, we kindly ask that if you’d like more beyond the initial amount, you source it yourself. Most local shops around here stock firewood, so you’ll have no trouble finding some nearby. From April to September, when the days are longer and warmer, we don’t provide firewood as part of your stay. If you’d still love a fire during these months, feel free to bring your own or pick some up locally—those same shops have you covered year-round.
