Situated in a spacious five-bedroom home, this private room is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat while remaining conveniently close to Cambridge Two more rooms available if a family * 5-minute drive to the guided busway, offering direct access to Cambridge and Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Cambridge city centre is only a 15-minute drive away. This listing is for the room , bathroom, private lounge & access to the kitchen for snacks/microwave The space The property is a large five bedroom detached house situated in a private road in a small village just off the A14. There is an additional room available if you have a child or want to travel with another couple. Off street parking is available Guest access The Kitchen: Please note that the kitchen is a shared space with the host and is not available for full meal preparation. You are welcome to make a cup of tea, toast , or use the microwave for ready meals, but the stove top and oven are off-limits. Excellent local takeaway and restaurant recommendations are available and you’re more than happy to bring them back and eat them in the kitchen. If your stay is for a longer period and you will need to use the kitchen fridge et cetera for cooking this can be accommodated separately for an additional cost. There is small snug sitting room which needs onto the private wall Garden where you will find a large sofa and table and chairs for relaxing. The host has their own sitting room if the door is open, you’re more than welcome to go in and chat. Own bathroom During your stay I work from home so will generally be in the house but on the rare occasions I’m not you will have my phone number in case of any problems . This is a private room within my home, where I live with another female resident. It is a peaceful, shared home environment and is best suited to considerate guests who enjoy a relaxed and respectful stay. I welcome guests who appreciate a calm atmosphere, including female travellers and couples looking for a comfortable home base. Other things to note The village has a nice pub , fish and chip shop convenience store and café. The guided bus Cambridge is a five minute drive away and Cost £2 If I’m around, I’m happy to drop you and pick you up from the bus if you are potentially going into Cambridge and enjoying a drink .
