Kels place Kenya is ideal for local and international tourists going to climb Mt Kenya through the most scenic Chogoria route, diasporans, families, group of friends wishing to spend quality time away from the bustle and hassle of the city, parents visiting their children in nearby schools , colleges and Universities or just on transit to elsewhere. The space My cosy house has the following rooms; *Living room with a 7 - seater comfy leather lounge sofa, smart TV and coffee table. * Large pouch area *Well equipped modern kitchen with a gas cum electric stove/oven and a dining island. *Master bedroom with a super queen size bed , fitted wardrobes and ensuite bathroom with walk in shower and with hot water *Bedroom 2 with a super queen size bed ,fitted wardrobes and ensuite bathroom with walk in shower and with hot water *Laundry house * Outside barbeque area *Extra outside kitchen with a firewood stove for cooking your dishes that are best cooked on firewood or deep frying e.g fish .Free firewood is provided if available. Extra kitchen help is available for a small fee. *Fresh ecologically grown fruits and vegetables and eggs from our farm are available for a small fee. *Nature walks up and down the steep hills and a hike to Lake Ellis on Mt Kenya can be arranged. You are able to climb and come down to the accomodation same day. Other things to note Air beds are available on request at a reasonable price.
