Glamping on the Houhora Heights

With vistas out to Mount Camel and the Rangaunu Bay, this lofty spot offers the summer holiday in style. You'll enjoy the comforts of home with a king-sized bed, massive rain head and shower for two, access to the wood fired hot tub and much more. The tent in Houhora is handily located just 5 minutes from 90mile Beach on the West Coast, the Houhora Heads 5 minutes drive East, and dozens of world class East Coast beaches from 15 minutes drive. We are also fully off-grid. The space The structure of the tent is built from pine milled from the house site. It is roughly a 40m2 space internally with bedroom/lounge space, a separate bathroom and separate kitchen. Guest access The whole tent for your enjoyment. Please let us know when you'd like to use the hot tub and we will arrange to (if present) fill it with fresh water and start the fire to warm the water. The light switch for main living room area is locate behind the sliding door to the kitchen (but still in the main area). Food scraps should be placed in the ice-cream container and are best kept in the fridge, if possible, 5o avoid attracting ants. Other things to note Please be aware that this is a tent and in windy conditions, though super safe, it can get a little noisy. Also, the tent is located on a hill and is a short climb of stairs from the car park - this place is not suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.
