Our grandparents built this house as a home for the family, now it is our country side Villa that we love very much. We hope you will feel the family love while you stay in our special Icelandic Old School Home. We have lots of bird life here, many potentials of great activities, walking by the ocean and exploring the country side, saying hi to the sheep. Some have stayed with us to write and find peace. Just a 5 minute drive from kayak rental, a swimming pool and an Elf and Ghost house. The space Our property is a peaceful 2-hectare land with some trees and a beautiful view of the ocean. The house is a two-story Icelandic Family Home built by our grandfather and our family in the year 1928. The whole property is 140-hectares of flatland, with a beach and a lake which you are welcome to explore. On the first floor of the house, you’ll find: A welcoming hallway entrance up the outside stairs. A bathroom with a shower. A fully furnished kitchen. Two comfy bedrooms. A cozy living room with a sleeping sofa. The top floor features: A large living room with stunning views of the ocean and countryside A sleeping sofa for 1-2 persons. Optional mattresses for 1-2 persons. Guest access The top two floors are available for rent as a complete home. The bottom floor and the basement have a separate entrance and is not for rent. Other things to note The Hot water is heated with a tank so it can run out if you take a long shower ( up to 20 minutes), but it will heat up rather quickly again.
