The kitchenette has a mini fridge, kettle, microwave, plates and utensils plus complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The cottage has an antique cast-iron double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a toilet, washbasin and walk-in shower. Sleeps 2 guests only. Breakfast & Dinner available on request. The space The property is fully fenced with a large garden and an outdoor seating area, perfect for relaxing with a cuppa or a glass of wine. This charming cottage was lovingly renovated with salvaged items, you'll have the entire property to yourself. Enjoy free, off-street parking with a private entrance. Please note the cottage is not suitable for children due to its small size. Well-behaved, house-trained pets are welcome. Please check with us first about large breeds. On-site you'll find a Vintage Collectibles Shop to browse. Guest access Guests to please let us know when they are 15 minutes away so someone can meet you at the cottage. Guests have access to whole property. Other things to note For extended stays, enjoy a scenic drive up Smithfield Mountain with your host/s. Gorgeous views! Outdoor enthusiasts, rejoice! Smithfield Dam offers fishing opportunities or alternatively, lace up your hiking boots and conquer the mountain or explore the scenic dirt roads on two wheels. If adventure isn't your thing, no worries! Our quaint small town offers the perfect setting to slow down, unwind, and enjoy a refreshing change of pace from the hustle and bustle of city life. For golf enthusiasts, Smithfield offers a 9 hole golf course and is also among one of the oldest in the Free State. Built in 1855 (the town was founded in 1848)
