Cottage in the Woods

Take a break in our charming forest cottage. The cottage boasts a small yard, 12 acres of trails and a rustic feel. The location feels like a world away and yet is conveniently located near shops and restaurants. Stroll through several acres of forest trails. Enjoy local shops and restaurants just 5 minutes away in Sultan or 10 minutes away in Monroe. Enjoy a day skiing or visiting Everett or Seattle. All within 1 hour's drive from the cottage. We now have internet and a TV available! The space You enter the cottage through an intimate sunroom with a small bistro table, a great place for press pot made coffee in the morning. The entryway opens into an open concept living and dining room. Enjoy reading a book from our small library on one of the wingback chairs by the fire. Play a board game from our collection at our dining room table. Or use it to enjoy a meal prepared in our small kitchenette that is equipped with the essentials to prepare light meals. The cozy bathroom includes a stand-up shower providing comfort and convenience after a day of exploring the great outdoors. Upstairs in loft you'll find two connected bedrooms. The larger space offers a queen size bed. The smaller space opens to below and offers a full size beds. Outside you can walk through 12 acres of trails during the day or enjoy a bonfire in the campfire at night in the small yard. We provide 1 bundle of wood for your first night. The cottage provides linens, towels, dishes, press pot, electric kettle, two burners, toaster oven and small kitchen gadgets. It does have electricity and heat but currently does not have wifi or cable.
