A comfy private room with lock and key inside a charming 1896 Victorian building set up for Airbnb guests-like a mini hostel. Out front is a popular Mexican food cart and 2 blocks away is trendy~NW 23rd Avenue-a 1.5 mile strip of coffee shops, restaurants and unique shops. A bus stop is 2 blocks away or use Uber/Lyft/car to get downtown in 6 minutes. Also Forest park Is only a 15 minute walk away. Part of your fee goes to help Ukrainians🇺🇦. Your host lives on premises in a different apartment. The space A spacious furnished private bedroom includes a comfy queen bed, loveseat (or extra bed), electric fireplace, desk with chair, closet, dresser, T.V. and clean linens. The private room has a keyed deadbolt lock. You will have access to a full bathroom, kitchen, dining nook and living room shared with guest(s) staying in one other private room at the opposite end of the apartment. Most of our guests are out and about exploring Portland during the day so most likely there will be little interaction or traffic. Guest access Guests are given a keypad code to enter the building, another to enter the apartment and will find a deadbolt key for their private room in the lock. Guests are free to use the kitchen (help themselves to the AirBNB "Snack" cabinet and coffee/tea bar), 1 shared full bathroom, laundry, living room, dining room, and the outdoor patio/courtyard areas During your stay We are around sometimes although respond to AirBNB messages promptly if guests need anything. Other things to note The kitchen island has a complimentary snack cabinet for guests in addition to a coffee and tea bar-help yourself. Also feel free to use the laundry room and any soaps you need. The shower also has complimentary soap and shampoos.
