The Village Cottage

The Village Cottage is our cosy place, where you can escape from your busy life in the city to the relaxing village environment. We wanted to create a nice, comfortable and homely place, where you can have a peaceful time in the green surroundings of this beautiful village of Natsovtsi. In the house you will find the comfort and convenience that we all need, while enjoying relaxation and the freedom that living in a village gives. The space On your disposal will be a living room and a fully equipped kitchen corner with a dining area, two bedrooms with double beds (the double bed in one of the bedrooms could be converted in two singles), a bathroom with a toilet, a big garden and a nice barbecue area there, equipped with kitchen appliances, too. You can enjoy nice walks in the village, or its surroundings, riverside walks – or why not having a swim in the hot weather or fish there, visit the famous Kilifarevo Monastery and the picturesque hills around it, at the end of the village, or follow the trail to the remains of the old monastery, up in the hills. In the village you can buy honey and nuts from a local farmer, also one of the best wineries in the region ( Dragoshinov Winery ) is situated here. Just outside the village, about 1,5 km distance, there is a complex with a pool and a restaurant. You can find a small restaurant in the village, too, with friendly people and village food (working every day in the summer and limited working days during the winter season). The nice and hospitable owners can prepare for you tasty salads, grilled meats, fries and drinks. And, of course, if you prefer to eat at home and enjoy the garden, you can do so in the fully equipped kitchen in the house or on the outside barbecue area. The town of Kilifarevo is only 1, 5 km from the village and there you can find two well stocked supermarkets. Our village is only 15 km from Veliko Tarnovo – the Old Bulgarian capital. The town is famous for its magnificent architecture and charming cobbled streets of the old town, the beautiful Yantra river, The Gallery, monuments and museums, and of course – The Tsarevets Fortress. Here, in the town, you can try the cuisine of the numerous restaurants or just to have a drink on some of the bar terraces with amazing views to the town and the river. Back in the village, if you like riding a bike, at the house you will find ready to use bikes on your disposal, which you can have while exploring the village area. Also, not that far from here, you can drive to visit the Kapinovo Monastery, ( 19 km), the town of Dryanovo and Dryanovo Monastery ( 33 km), Bozhentsi Village – Architecture Reserve ( 48 km), Etara – Etnographic Museum-Village ( 55 km). Guest access During your stay, you will have all the property on your disposal, with a private entrance. Other things to note Sheltered car parking is provided at the house with extra street parking allowed. Please do not smoke in the house. In the village we have our neighbors – older people and young families. In order to give them consideration and maintain the village environment, loud music and fireworks are not permitted at or in the house.
