Welcome to Höfði! We offer a cozy cottage in a stunning location in Dalvik, surrounded by the Svarfadardalur Nature Reserve! Elsti, “The Oldest”, is a cottage with sleeping places for up to 6 people (1 french size double bed, 1 single bed, 2 bunk beds and a comfortable sofa bed). Moreover it offers a well equipped kitchen, a spacious living room and a bathroom with shower. Outside a patio with a hot tube, a BBQ, table and chairs are available. Free Wi-Fi & TV with ChromeCast The space This is the place where whale watching excursions start. Great walking trails depart from this area too, and a lot of them are connected to the bird watching activity in the Nature Reserve. Enjoy the northern lights in winter or the midnight sun in summer… you’ll never forget it! Guest access The cottage is a 5 minutes drive from the local skiing area and 10 walking minutes from the Dalvik town center. Activities available close by: hiking, horse trips, skiing, whale watching, bird watching, swimming pool, golf. Pick-up in Akureyri can be arranged for a reasonable price. Other things to note We expect our guests to take good care of our cottage and leave it in the same conditions as they found it, nice and clean. Please make sure that glasses, dishes and cutlery have been washed, dried and arranged before your departure, and leave the towels in the bathroom basket. Pets are not allowed and smoking is forbidden in the house. Kindly take off your shoes when you enter the cottage. Take a shower before entering the hot tub and… have fun!
