Number 5 - A homely, quirky house in Lerwick lanes

Situated in the historic Lerwick lanes this quirky three-storey character house (circa 1850) in close proximity to Commercial Street is an ideal base in the heart of Lerwick. Quiet and peaceful, yet with shops, restaurants, bars and waterfront only a couple of minutes walk away. There is free parking nearby. The space Ideal for couples or a small family although as the property is set over 3 levels with steep stairs it's unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues or very young children. Newly redecorated and refurbished. There is an open fire in sitting room with wood and peat provided. There is a well equipped kitchen with tea (including herbal teas) coffee, biscuits and milk in the fridge. In the utility room you will find a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The toiletries in bathroom and upstairs toilet are from the Shetland soap company. Other things to note We aim to be as flexible as possible regarding check in and out times. After what can be an arduous journey on the overnight ferry, it will usually be possible to access Number 5 on disembarking.
