Zanja Arajuno is situated in the Ecuadorian rainforest, north of Puyo (at 45 minutes). We are a conservation center with focus on investigations on local wildlife, protection of the biodiversity of the Amazonian rainforest and promotion of self-sufficient living as well as collaboration with local community. We invite everyone interested in those fields to join us as volunteers. You are also welcome to just stay some nights as a guest, with or without breakfast included. The space The house is just by the gravel road surrounded by the rain forest. There are 5 bedrooms in the house, some with bunk beds and some with double beds. Kitchen for self service and 3 bath rooms. The standard is very simple. There is also another house 20 minutes walk into the rainforest that you ca rent. Other things to note Zanja Arajuno is 100% maintained by self-management. To support biodiversity care, we have three programs: Mindful tourism, environmental education, and volunteering
