ECHEVERIA is the name of your Igloo, such name is the species of cactus that is specifically found in the Igloo where you are going to stay, you can find it in the planter next to the entrance of the Igloo and in a planter inside the courtyard. Echeveria is a polyphyletic genus of plants in the Crassulaceae family. It has 293 species that are distributed in arid, semi-arid and temperate areas of the southwestern United States, Mexico, Central America and even northern Argentina. They are herbaceous, succulent, perennial, stemless plants or with simple or branched stems. The leaves are flattened and fleshy, arranged in the shape of a rosette. They are green or brown, often with a reddish apex and margin. The lateral inflorescence is a cymbidium, a cluster, a panicle, or a spike with hermaphrodite flowers of five sepals joined at the base; the corollas are tubular to conical with five petals of pink, red, orange, yellow, white, or green. The property has a main entrance, which accesses a shared area where you can see 5 different igloos and a beautiful desert courtyard with cacti. In this accommodation you can see different cacti, such as pachypodium, calanchoe, agave, stenocereus, aeonium, tomentosa, melocactus, echeveria secunda and pachifitum. In the laundry room, if needed, you can wash your clothes. Just please do not take extra towels or sheets without authorization. Other things to note The complex is located in the mountains, mostly surrounded by vegetation, so there are quite a few insects. We fumigate every month, clean thoroughly, mop with insect repellent, spray lavender extract to ward off scorpions, but some still manage to get into the accommodation. Your place always has bug killer and repellent. *In case of a scorpion or spider bite, take 1 Avapena pill, which can be found in the first aid kit that is entering the laundry room on the right side, then go to the Ribera Medical Center. *For long-stay reservations, 1 cleaning is included for every 7 nights, or we can schedule additional cleanings for $300 each.
