The space Bolivar Lake Lodge is a thoughtfully designed retreat created by local owners who care deeply about your experience. Set on 16 wooded acres with a private 3-acre lake, this spacious cabin offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Enjoy a professionally cleaned home with offsite laundry service and fully stocked essentials for a comfortable stay. Conveniently located near Route 77, you’ll have easy access to river activities, local wineries and breweries, scenic trails, and nearby attractions—all while enjoying the peace and privacy of your own waterfront escape. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the home and surrounding outdoor spaces for the duration of their stay. The basement, supply closets, garage, and additional buildings on the property are not accessible unless prior arrangements have been made. Please note: access to the bunk room is through the first-floor primary bedroom. A rollaway bed and daybed are also available for flexible sleeping arrangements. For safety and insurance reasons, the indoor wood-burning stoves are not available for guest use. Outdoor fire pit use is welcome and a guest favorite. Other things to note • The private lake is ideal for kayaking and catch-and-release fishing. Basic fishing gear and kayaks are provided at no cost. If bringing your own fishing gear, please use barbless hooks only. A pedal boat is available seasonally between Memorial Day and Labor Day. • The home’s water supply comes from a private well, which is common for lake and rural properties. • Bolivar Lake Lodge is decorated for the holidays from December through January, creating a cozy seasonal atmosphere. • Wildlife: The cabin is located near wooded areas and a lake, so occasional insects or small critters may be present. Our cleaning team is diligent, and we avoid excessive chemical treatments. If you notice anything during your stay, please let us know and we’ll be happy to assist.
