Lovely cosy traditional Orkney cottage with all the comforts of home. Furnished with comfy beds and luxurious bedding our cottage offers the perfect base for your visit to Orkney. Family and dog friendly this cottage is a perfect holiday home. The space This cosy Lodge is within easy reach of a beautiful Sandy beach, great for kids and dog walking. We are in the heart of the village and there is a small village shop with post office, selling everyday basics. We have a sourdough bakery & wood fired sourdough pizzeria on site. The Lodge sleeps 4-6 people, the master bedroom has a king sized bed, for 2. We love the luxury feel that Egyptian cotton bedding provides with micro fibre duvets and feather pillows. Please advise of an allergies as these can be changed. The second bedroom is 1 double bed. The living area is a dining/kitchen/living room with 2 sofas, 1 sofa is a sofa bed, sleeps 1/2 people, extra charge for bedding applies, please ask when booking. we have provided a wide screen tv with free sat. There is a fitted kitchen with dining table & 4 chairs, ( 2 spare folding chairs provided, high chair and travel cot can be supplied, please ask The shower room has an electric shower with plenty of hot water, and a cosy heated towel rail. Free wifi is available, the log in code will be supplied on arrival A maximum of 2 dogs will be accepted by prior arrangement at a cost of £25 per dog per week. 3 dogs by permission, please ask before booking Dogs must be on lead at all times and must not go in any furniture, in shower or in the bedrooms. We have a washer & dryer available for use, however we do use this for guest linen/bistro washing so it may not always be accessible, please check with us when on site for the best times to access this facility. Other things to note We run a sourdough bakery & make cook at home wood fired sourdough pizzas to pre-order for your arrival, so ask for details when booking. Sourdough bread & pastries are made Friday’s, just ask us if you wish to order. we also have an off sales licence and stock a range of local craft beers and european organic wines. Dogs 🐕 we accept up to 2/3 dogs in the lodge. Please keep dogs on leads at all times whilst on site.
