Chalky's Retreat

In the heart of the beautiful McLaren Vale wine region, you'll find Chalky's Retreat nestled amongst the gums alongside the Flat to Vale trail. At your door step are world famous wineries, eateries, the Willunga markets and pristine beaches. The home has been designed with comfort in mind including a well equipped kitchen and bathroom, reverse cycle A/C and plush linen. Outside there is a deck, outdoor dining, BBQ and fire pit. Enjoy complimentary bike hire and gourmet breakfast provisions. The space The rooms in our tiny home are all on one level with separate bedroom, bathroom and open plan lounge/ dining. Enjoy a 'sleep in ' with block out blinds before a morning coffee gazing over the local vineyards. You may even see a koala in the gum trees or kangaroos hopping through the grapevines. Head out and take in the vistas along the flat to vail trail on foot or via bike or, if you wish take a car and travel further afield to one of the many eateries/ wineries in the region. After a busy day relax on the deck with a glass of wine or during the colder months snuggle around the fire pit with a drop of McLaren Vale red. Other things to note The fire pit is only available for use between 30 April - 30 November to coincide with SA Fire Ban dates. You can BYO wood or purchase a bag from us for $20. Our bag includes wood, kindling and fire starters.
