Fichtel-POD - Hot tub & sauna for a fee

The Fichtel POD is an igloo-like wooden hut. The property is ideal for those who like to have it easy, but do not want to sacrifice comfort. As a special highlight there is a hot tub with a bubbling system and underwater lighting with direct access next to the POD (surcharge 99 euros for an afternoon/night and each additional day 69 euros). In addition, a sauna barrel that is fired with wood can be booked. (59 euros for 3 hours and for you alone :)). The space ♡ The Fichtel pod is equipped with a cozy bed, a small sofa, a table with two stools, light, electricity and a flat screen TV. Outside, two loungers and a fire pit invite you to relax. If desired, a charcoal grill can be provided (excl. charcoal). ♡ The POD is a small romantic hut with a bed and seating for two people. Ideal for a romantic overnight stay or a small natural getaway. The entire property is 4 x 2 m. In addition, there is of course electric heating and a television. ♡ As a special highlight, there is a wood-heated hot tub with a bubble system and underwater lighting right next to the POD. Treat yourself to this unique wellness pleasure under the (star)sky. The price is 99€ per night, for each additional day we charge 69€. The hot tub is filled with fresh water and is therefore completely chemical-free. Of course, it is available for exclusive use when booking. On request, Andy - our local host - can preheat the hot tub for you. He would appreciate a small tip for the hassle. Otherwise, you can heat the hot tub yourself and you should take about three hours. There is a privacy screen around the hot tub, which guarantees the necessary privacy. ♡ From October to the end of March, our outdoor sauna - a wood-fired sauna barrel - can be booked. The sauna can accommodate up to 4 people (sitting) and 2 people (lying down). The cozy anteroom invites you to relax between the infusions. The price is €59 for up to 3 hours incl. Tea and a choice of high quality essential oils. Please note that the sauna must be reserved in advance. This may no longer be available on the desired date. ♡ Next to the Fichtel-POD is an environmentally friendly dry separation toilet and a simple washing facility (for your own use). A guest bathroom with shower and sink with running drinking water is located in the courtyard about 30 meters away. ♡ Parking is available directly in front of the property. Guest access ♡ Our common room in the courtyard has darts, foosball, ping-pong and billiard tables as well as a refrigerator with freezer compartment (the room is unheated). We also offer our guests a coffee machine and a kettle with a small selection of tea (in winter the coffee machine is in the bathroom). ♡ In the courtyard there is also a bathroom in the former boiler room. There is a shower and sink with running drinking water. Shower towels can be brought yourself or rented on site for €5. ♡ The courtyard is about 30m from the property. Other things to note ♡ If desired, a charcoal grille can be provided. Charcoal must be brought along. ♡ In the cold months, we put an electric heater in the POD. ♡ Wood for the fire bowl can be brought yourself or purchased on site (€10 per box). ♡ If you want to use the shower or hot tub, you can book a bath towel for 5 euros per towel or bring your own. ♡ If you would like to use the hot tub, we ask you to make an early reservation. Andy - the local host - is happy to heat the hot tub for you too. He would appreciate a small tip. Otherwise, you have to expect a heating time of about three hours. The extra charge is 99€ per night, for each additional day we charge 69€. Of course, the hot tub can also be used the next morning for an overnight stay (but it may no longer be heated on the day of departure, as we will not be able to clean it if the oven is warm). To do this, simply cover the hot tub with the lid, so the water stays warm until the morning. ♡ If you would like to use the open-air sauna, we ask you to request an early reservation. Please note that it is only available from October to the end of April. It's also possible that the barrel sauna is no longer available on the desired date. The extra charge is €59 for up to 3 hours incl. Tea and a choice of high quality essential oils. ♡ Dogs are welcome with us. We charge a surcharge of €15 per stay. A blanket and everything the animal needs must be brought along. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the bed and other furniture. Thank you for understanding. In addition, it is very tight with a dog in the POD. ♡ Location The pod is on the meadow behind our yard. Our farm is a Franconian 3-sided courtyard from 1850, which we are gradually renovating with a lot of love into a holiday farm. Next to the POD is currently an old driving silo, which will disappear in spring or fall 2026. ♡ The forest and rocky Fichtel Mountains in the northeast of Bavaria is an ideal starting point for various leisure activities in nature. There is a dense network of hiking and cycling trails and even in winter, all active vacationers will get their money's worth while skiing, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. The Fichel Mountains also have a lot to offer in the cultural field, such as the renowned Wagner and Luisenburg Festival. In the Rosenthal Outlet in Selb, people can experience porcelain up close. With 13 shops, the Outlet Center Selb offers a large selection of brands and products (Ravensburger, Lindt, Tom Tailor, etc.). There are also various spas in the area, such as the spa "Siebenquell" in Weissenstadt with beautiful sauna landscape or the "Sybillenbad" in Neualbenreuth.
