Stay Where Samurai Once Slept—With a View of Their Garden This warm, fully renovated kominka was once the guesthouse of samurai lords in the 1500s. Located near Hideyoshi’s “One-Night Castle,” it features rooms built 110–130 years ago and sacred artifacts dating back 280–350 years. Enjoy three unique rooms, a fragrant wooden bath, freshly cooked local breakfast, and optional cultural activities—like hina doll making and wild river fish dining. It is a very valuable piece of furniture.
