Hillview Haven

You won’t forget your time in this romantic, beautiful shepherds hut with glorious views of the historic Cornish countryside. Perfect location to explore the whole of Cornwall with Cheesewring, Golitha Falls and the lovely beaches of Looe just a short distance away. Also nearby is the Harbour of Polperro, Fowey and the famous historic Jamaica Inn. The space Hill Haven is a peaceful, private spot with views over Caradon Hill (famous for its rich mining heritage). It is also close to the local town of Liskeard where you can pick up all of your essentials. The Shepherds hut and it’s surroundings are also perfect for your pet as it is very secure with fabulous walks right on your doorstep. There are many places in the nearby vicinity to visit including Golitha Falls, Cheesewring, Minions, Siblyback Lake, Bodmin Jail and the Eden project which is just a short drive away. Looe (where Beyond Paradise is filmed) is also a beautiful town just a 15 minute car journey away. Our location truly is perfect for exploring the whole of Cornwall with easy access to the A30/A38. Guest access There is a dedicated parking spot on our driveway for your car. Once parked, please follow the gravel path through the gate to the right of our house. This will lead you to Hill Haven which is surrounded by Cornish stone walls and fencing, so it’s very secure for pets. Other things to note Hill Haven is set at the bottom of our garden grounds whilst maintaining privacy. The entire hut and outside space is fenced off from the rest of the garden which will also give anyone bringing their pet a peace of mind. We have a lovely decked area and patio with spectacular views across the farmland and up to Caradon Hill (the stars on a clear night are a must see)! We will provide logs for the burner but if you should run out, more will be available to purchase from us. If you require an arrival package for a special occasion, this can be arranged for an additional fee. Please contact us prior to arrival so this can be organised to ensure you have the perfect stay. Please note if you are arriving via train, Liskeard train station is a 35 minute walk to the hut. If you were going to be exploring on foot, there are lots of beautiful walks nearby with the main town of Liskeard being approximately a 20 minute walk.
