Guest Suite near train & bus in Wattle Glen. Our spacious guest suite, nestled in the peaceful, semi-rural suburb of Wattle Glen. Our guest suite can accommodate up to 4 adults. We also offer a standard cot, a baby bassinet & a high chair all on request. This retreat offers a serene escape with convenient access to Melbourne, local attractions, and the stunning Yarra Valley. The space IMPORTANT NOTE: Our guest suite is located on the lower floor of our house, and our family, including a baby, has bedrooms and living space upstairs so that noise can be heard downstairs when staying at the guest suite. We’ll do our best to minimise activity upstairs to keep things as quiet as possible. We also spend time in the other areas of the house downstairs to avoid causing noise. We just wanted to be transparent with you and let you know that we’ll do our best to make your stay comfortable. • The guest suite is on the lower level of our home with a separate entrance through the shared laundry, which requires navigating six steps. There is another door layer before entering guest bedrooms and living/dining area with a lock to ensure your privacy. • Bedrooms: One with a king-size bed, one with a double bed and a sofa bed in the living/dining area. • Living & Dining: Features a cozy sofa bed and a dining/workspace area. • Pantry: Fully equipped with a mini fridge, induction cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle and sandwich press. • Bathroom: Dedicated for guest use only. Fresh bath towel, hand towel, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. Access bathroom via the shared laundy area. • Laundry: shared laundry area • Entry path is narrow and a bit uneven. Location Highlights Situated just a 6-minute walk from Wattle Glen Railway Station and bus station, our guest suite is perfectly positioned for easy public transport access and a peaceful retreat. House Rules for guests: • No loud music or loud noise during guest stay. • Respect noise-sensitive neighbours and council regulations. • No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited indoors; permitted outdoors away from windows and entrances. • No Pets: To maintain cleanliness and allergy-free comfort for all guests. • Key Policy: Lost, damaged, or unreturned keys incur a $50 replacement fee Things to Note • Safety: There are hazards in the gardens such as dangerous steps,.... Please ask us if you are unsure when accessing the gardens to avoid risks of injury. • If the 2nd bedroom is used with a booking of less than 3 guests (not including infants under 2), a $20 extra fee will be charged each night. • Strictly no parties. • No third-party bookings - guests must not book for family and friends • Our property is on a dust road. • On hot days, flies may gather near the entrance of the guest suite—an occasional feature of rural living. • Sighting any creepy crawlies does not allow any refund.
