The Wagon

The Wagon is an original Shepherds Hut which has been beautifully restored and fitted out for comfort. Modern kitchen facilities with small fridge/freezer, gas Hobbs. Full bathroom facilities with shower, vanity and modern composting toilet. Sheltered and private outdoor setting on deck with gas BBQ and utensils. We provide Clean bedding and towels, Teas, coffee and hot chocolate, Cooking essentials, Cooking utensils, pots, frypan, cutlery and crockery. Toiletry essentials. The space The Wagon is a fully restored original Shepherds Hut situated in a sheltered private and peaceful setting on our 4 hectare lifestyle block. Our property is nestled at the end of the beautiful peaceful Otahuna Valley. Wake up to the sound of birdsong and nearby stream. Experience the tranquility and country atmosphere. Alpacas and shetland pony can be hand fed. There are 2 friendly dogs on the property. Our property is semi rural but close to great cafes and restaurants, walking and biking tracks, golf course and great day outings.. Please note we also have Birdsong Studio on our property if couples are travelling together and want accommodation on the same property. Guest access The Wagon is fully self contained with its own outdoor deck and country views. Parking close to wagon and lock box entry Other things to note There is no TV or wifi. There is no air conditioning, just opening windows and french doors. There is phone reception. The toilet is a modern composting toilet.
