Built in in 1890, Shell Seekers is a three storey cottage just a pebbles throw from the beach and moments from Deal's conservation area where you will find the award winning high street with independent shops, The Saturday Market, Deal Castle and lots of pubs and restaurants (The Rose, The Pelican, Middle St Fish Bar, Cherubs and more!) This cosy seaside town is a foodie's heaven and our cottage is the perfect place to relax in after a busy day out and about exploring this cosy smuggler's town! The space Shell Seekers is bright and spacious and we love the family holiday home we have created and we just finished renovating it last year. We have thoughtfully decorated it with art that nods to the sea and furniture we've found locally and in some cases, brought back to life. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. Sitting Room Snuggle up on the comfy L-shaped sofa and 2 very comfortable arm chairs with a sea themed book from the collection or stick on the TV, the sitting room is the perfect place to relax. Kitchen We love to host and our brand new kitchen is full of all the mod cons and everything the keen cook would need to throw the perfect dinner party, cosy Sunday roast or cooking fresh fish from Jenkins the fishmonger. Dining Room Serve up your meals in our open plan, spacious dining room. Bedrooms We want you to have the best nights sleep so all bedrooms have high quality luxurious bedding and John Lewis towels but please only take the stripy towels to the beach. There are two bedrooms on the 1st floor (one double and one king) and one Master Queen Bedroom in the Loft with an adjoining bathroom with a toilet and sink. Bathrooms The master bathroom has a luxurious free standing bath and shower. There is a bathroom with a toilet and sink next to the loft room on the 2nd floor. Garden Shell Seekers has a big garden, with patio, lawn and decking, perfect for a sunny morning breakfast or sit back in the deck chairs with a sundowner after a day at the beach. Children We have 1 high chair and 1 travel cot, please let us know if you would like these put out for you during your stay. Pets We welcome well behaved dogs (2 max) and our big garden is perfect for them. We just ask that you don't allow them to go on the beds or sofa so we can keep everything as clean as possible. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house but we ask you to please respect our neighbours and be considerate, especially in the garden between the hours of 9am-10pm. Aa is the case in all of Deal, the garden are all connected with gates so neighbours can get their rubbish out of the shared alleyway. We are situated in such a position that our neighbours never need to go through ours. Other things to note No smoking anywhere inside the property. No parties and no noise in the garden beyond between 8am-9pm as our neighbours have to go to work. For insurance purposes, the number of people inside the property must not exceed the number of guests booked. We welcome dogs at an extra charge of £25 but we ask that you don't allow them on the sofa or beds so we can keep everything as clean as possible.
