WELCOME to the North Caribbean of Martinique, in the picturesque village of Morne Vert, located within the UNESCO World Heritage site, which includes the Pitons du Nord and the majestic Montagne Pelée for their exceptional biodiversity! Your home offers unobstructed views of these natural wonders as well as easy access to the surrounding beaches and the many hikes. It's a two-room apartment that adjoins your hosts' home. The space In a pleasant area, you will enjoy the following amenities: - An air-conditioned bedroom with ensuite bathroom, for relaxing nights after your getaways, - A small living room to get up on the right foot with your coffee or for your relaxation or work needs. - A large shared terrace where you can enjoy your meals facing the pool. - A dedicated space on the pool solarium to relax in the sun and enjoy a beautiful view of Mont Pelé and the surrounding hills. - A separate outdoor kitchen with a sink, a refrigerator, a hob, pots and a pan, a microwave, a teapot and herbal teas or tea leaves from the garden, a kettle, and cutlery. - A SMOKING AREA on the garden side from where you can contemplate the northern peaks. The accommodation is surrounded by a wooded and flowered garden, with various fruits depending on the season. A small space dedicated to medicinal plants is also accessible for curious nature. This self-catering home adjoins the family home where your hosts and their affectionate dogs live. You will be welcomed in a "small family cottage" spirit. Guest access Getting to your accommodation is easy: When you arrive, a space is reserved for you to park in the residence. If you don't like maneuvering, you can park on the road. A paved path will take you to your independent accommodation. Precise directions will be provided for a smooth arrival. BY CAR, Morne Vert is easily accessible from the national 2 in the north Caribbean. Leaving the capital Fort de France, you will pass through the town of Schoelcher located 25 minutes from Morne Vert, then the municipalities of Case Pilote 15 minutes away and Bellefontaine 8 minutes away. If you arrive from the North Atlantic, Morne Rouge is 25 minutes from Morne Vert, 15 minutes from Saint-Pierre and 10 minutes from Le Carbet. Buses also serve the town, but a car is highly recommended to fully enjoy the surroundings and not waste time. Although the accommodation is easily accessible by car, we do not recommend the accommodation if you do not have a vehicle during your stay. ACTIVITIES: - Canyoning: Venture into the local gorges and waterfalls for a sporting and immersive experience in the heart of nature. - Snorkeling, diving clubs: Explore the rich and varied seabed, especially around Saint-Pierre/Manman Dlo with the submerged statues and in Le Carbet, at Anse Turin snorkeling with the wreck of a boat spotted by 3 yellow buoys.

On Saint Pierre, La Vague on the beach next to the square, Le Réservoir 1902 near the museum and Le Fromager on the heights. At the Depaz distillery in Saint-Pierre, the Moulin restaurant in Cannes, the chef Malidor will welcome you in a superb setting (closed on Mondays) Otherwise, in the village of Morne Vert, a basic country restaurant frequented by young people or workers, and lower down, a pizzeria. - Shops around Morne Vert: Convenience store for your daily needs in the village of Morne Vert, opposite the church, a few minutes from the accommodation. But, the choice will be wider at "U express" in Carbet or "Carrefour Market" in Saint-Pierre. If you come back from Fort-de-France, at the roundabout after the pilot case gas station, you will find another "Carrefour Market".
