Idyllic old Gardeners Cottage

* NEW FOR 2026 ON SITE SAUNA* Set a stones throw away from Loch Ken, the Gardeners Cottage is ideally located to explore the Galloway Forest park, the beautiful secluded beaches dotted along our coastline and of course Loch Ken, right on our doorstep. We are a five minute drive to Castle Douglas where there are supermarkets and restaurants, and on the outskirts Threave Gardens ( NTS ). Other things to note We allow well behaved dogs. No pets in bedrooms please. If the dogs are malting an extra cleaning fee is charged.
