Escape to this cosy, self-contained apartment just a stone’s throw from the charming market town of Sudbury. The Nook is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful nearby villages of Lavenham, Monks Eleigh, and Clare, as well as major towns like Bury St Edmunds and Colchester. The Nook has its own private entrance, overlooking the natural wetland. The Nook is a five-minute walk from the picturesque waterside path along the River Stour, ideal for miles of serene countryside walks. The space Property Amenities & How-To Guide • Heating there is an electric heater in both the lounge and the bedroom but please turn it off when leaving the property. o The lounge heater has been left in the ON state, all you need to do is turn it on at the wall socket. Please do not leave this heater on overnight. o The bedroom has a touchscreen panel on the front with the settings for ON / OFF and temperature control • TV & Streaming: The TV is equipped with Netflix, Prime and Freeview apps. Please feel free to use your own account details and these will be wiped at the end of your stay. Use the remote to navigate. • Kitchen Appliances: o Kettle, Toaster and Microwave: Located on the counter for easy use. o There is a second bed, a sofa bed, in the lounge. If you require the bedding for the sofa bed please let me know in advance and it will be put in the wardrobe for you to make up. • Outdoor Space: Enjoy the garden area around the Nook entrance, but please be mindful of noise levels. Security lighting will trigger when entering and exiting. Upon entering there is a double light switch on the right hand side adjacent to the window. The first switch is for the interior light. The second switch should be left in the ON position so the sensor light outside will continue to work. Local Transportation & Getting Around Train Station: Sudbury Train Station is a 5-minute drive from The Nook. Trains run to Marks Tey, where you can connect to London or other destinations.
