Nestled on the main lake at Lake of the Woods, our beautifully renovated, fully furnished, and uniquely luxurious lake house is your perfect retreat. Stocked with everything you need, this stunning one-level home offers an unforgettable stay in the heart of Virginia’s picturesque lake country. Our spacious yet cozy lake house is ideal for your next vacation, family gathering, work trip, staycation, or weekend escape. With its breathtaking lakefront views, thoughtful design, and wheelchair-accessible features, you’ll feel instantly at ease in this tranquil haven. The Space Our 2,100-square-foot, single-story home, masterfully renovated, blends functionality with open, inviting living spaces. From smart automation, to unique finishing touches, every detail reflects our commitment to quality and luxury. The accessible layout ensures comfort for all guests. We primarily offer short-term reservations (30 days or less) through this platform, with the possibility of longer-term bookings (e.g., corporate housing) considered on a case-by-case basis. Interior Highlights Fully Stocked Kitchen: Features ample cabinet space, gleaming granite countertops, island seating, and brand-new stainless appliances. Equipped for all your cooking and baking needs, it’s perfect for preparing home-cooked meals to enjoy at the 4 person high top table. Living and Dining Areas: The living room boasts expansive windows that flood the space with natural light and waterfront views. The dining area comfortably seats 8 for meals, game nights (cards, or board games), or lively gatherings. The living room includes a coffee and wine bar with a Keurig. Relax on a love seat, full sofa, or two reclining chairs for movie nights. All areas are wheelchair-accessible with wide doorways and open layouts. Bedrooms: Primary Suite: Features a king-sized bed, dedicated workspace, his-and-hers closets, and a luxurious en-suite full bathroom with a shower/tub, beautiful tile, stone accents, a separate water closet. Second Bedroom: Equipped with a queen-sized bed and includes an en-suite full bathroom with a tub/shower and similar spa-like finishes. Third Bedroom: Contains a full size bed and a twin bed. This room is adjacent to the third full bathroom, which is wheelchair-accessible, featuring a easy step-in shower, grab bars, a shower-seat, cubby, and room to maneuver. Total Capacity: Comfortably sleeps 7 guests (2 in primary suite, 2 in second bedroom, 3 in third bedroom). Bathrooms: Two en-suite full bathrooms (primary and second bedroom) with shower/tubs, tile surrounds, stone accents, and modern amenities. A third full wheelchair-accessible bathroom with an easy step-in shower, grab bars, and accessible fixtures, ensuring comfort and safety for all guests. Entertainment: HDTVs provide access to over 3,000 movies via an Amazon FireStick and apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, are available for use with your personal accounts. Traditional cable is available. Waterfront and Outdoor Features Our waterfront property sits on the main lake, offering direct access and unparalleled opportunities to embrace lake life. The home’s prime location provides breathtaking, unobstructed lake views year-round, immersing you in the beauty of the water. Large Screened Porch: A highlight of the lake house, the expansive screened porch is perfect for morning coffee, evening cocktails, or soaking in the lakefront serenity. Furnished with comfortable seating and a small table, it’s an ideal spot for group gatherings, protected from the elements while offering panoramic views of the water. Big Dock: Step onto our large private dock, perfect for fishing, sunbathing, or launching non-motorized watercraft like kayaks and paddleboards. The dock extends into the lake, providing a front-row seat to the water’s tranquility and a convenient spot for lakeside relaxation or group photos. A gentle ramp ensures dock access for all guests. Outdoor Spaces: Enjoy the lake front lawn for reading in the sun, host a barbecue on the rear porch, or gather around for cozy evenings with lake breezes. Guest Access Lake of the Woods is a gated community, ensuring privacy and security. Guests must enter through the front security gate on Route 3 with owner authorization and can exit via the back gate. Free parking is available throughout the community, with accessible parking spaces near the lake house. Guests can enjoy community amenities, including: Dining at community restaurants Access to public beaches, fishing, swimming, golfing. Note: Golf will incur additional fees, handled directly with the facilities. Restriction: Guests may not bring powered boats, per community rules. However, our optional pontoon boat cruises (see below) offer a unique way to experience the lake. Dock n Dine Experience: Embark on a culinary journey with Commodore Ed, who will guide you on a pontoon boat to a lakeside restaurant for a delightful dining experience. Depart from our big dock, enjoy a scenic ride, and savor a meal the community’s premier clubhouse before returning. Ideal for groups seeking convenience and fun. Other Things to Note Included Supplies: Your stay includes linens, kitchenware, spray cooking oils, seasonings, coffee, creamers, sweeteners, and an initial supply of paper products, dish, and laundry detergents. Community Activities: Take advantage of fishing, swimming, from the dock or nearby beaches. The lake’s calm waters and scenic surroundings make it a haven for relaxation. Booking for Groups: With a capacity of 7, the lake house is ideal for smaller groups. For larger groups, inquire about nearby rentals to accommodate additional guests. Accessibility: The one-level layout, wheelchair-accessible bathroom and accessible dock ensure inclusivity for all guests.
