Relax and recharge at ‘Soul’

Unobstructed water views of the South Kawhia Harbour, stunning gardens and lush native bush, Soul is the perfect adult getaway to nuture and re-energise. A fabulous retreat to relax, recharge and reset. This tiny home is big on comfort. A large deck offers inviting outdoor lounge and dining, BBQ, pellet fired pizza oven and bistro blinds making it the perfect place to view the ever changing tide and stunning sunsets. The space Soul sleeps 4 people, two in the main house (king size bed) and two in the smaller cabin (double bed). Guest access The Space: "Soul" is located at the top of a private driveway on the left in South Kawhia Harbour. Where you'll be: The Southern Kawhia Harbour aspect is an unspoiled paradise of native bush and birdsong, only 1 hour from Te Awamutu where you'll find plenty of shops to browse and cafes to enjoy. The delightful Kawhia seaside township is 35 mins away with Kawhia Hot Water Beach one of the most remarkable places in the world to soak up wellness. Numerous fishing charters leave from the Kawhia jetty - prior bookings are required. If bushwalking, sight seeing, caving or rafting is your adventure, Marokopa Falls and the free Piripiri Cave walk is a 30 min drive. The world famous Waitomo glow worm caves and black water rafting is 50 mins away. Closer to home there is fishing off Waiharakeke Bridge only a few mins drive and a boat ramp only 1km away. A second local boat ramp is a t Te Waitere 10km away. Feel free to use the Kayaks and blow up paddle board, the harbour is like glass on a calm/fine day. Guest access: Soul is set on two-thirds of an acre and you will have private access and use of the whole property. My apologies that Soul is not wheel chair friendly....gravel and steps. Other things to note Other things to note: Feel free to use the kayaks and/blow-up paddle board in the harbour. (No lifejackets supplied due to size differences in guests). Please just rinse these down with the hose when you are finished (and deflate paddle board once finished) and store upside down. There is a Nespresso pod machine in the kitchen. Feel free to bring your favourite flavour, some pods supplied. There are blankets for cuddling up on the outdoor couch stored under the chaise part of the lounge suite. Please leave the end patio blind down to protect the lounge suite from weather and sun when you leave. There is some dried flax kindling up in the top level of the car parking area (behind the metal burn drum) which you are welcome to use to start the brazier. Firewood is tucked under the back of the main house by the driveway. Lighter is in the kitchen drawer.
