The building itself is full of history, but the kitchen and toilet have been renovated for a comfortable stay. High-speed Wi-Fi is also available, making it ideal for remote workers to change their mood. It is also conveniently located 10 minutes by car from Tamamura Interchange, and has free parking, making it easy to get to popular spots in the prefecture. You can also enjoy valuable materials and books unique to the shrine. In the Irori room, which is the best part of the inn, you can enjoy mochi and oyaki under the prefecture's largest shrine, stewed dishes using an iron pot, and more. The space [Facility information and requests for use] This facility is a real old house built 150 years ago. It is not a house that looks like an old house, but a building that retains the original charm of traditional architecture, with earthen walls, a large dirt floor, old furniture, wooden fixtures, etc. The water circulation is currently being renovated, but because we value the traditional structure, we do not have air conditioning or sash (window frame with screen). Therefore, the room temperature is almost the same as the outside air, and depending on the season, insects may enter. Please understand and accept these as unique experiences of an old private house. The lighting is also set to be slightly dim except for the tatami room. The guest rooms are 8 tatami mat and 6 tatami mat Japanese-style rooms (with mosquito nets), 10 tatami mat sunken hearth room, 10 tatami mat wood-floored room, 40 tatami mat dirt floor, and 40 tatami mat wood-floored room on the second floor. Facilities include an all-electric kitchen, a unit bath (with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap), and separate men's and women's shower toilets. ■ Requests for use ・ Please be careful when handling old fixtures and furniture, etc., as they are fragile. In the event of damage, soiling, or loss, we may charge you for the cost of restoring the original condition. ・ Please be careful with fire. The building is made of wood and is very flammable. ・ Soot and wood tar may fall from the ceiling. Please understand that this is also a phenomenon unique to old private houses. ・ Please refrain from loud voices and noise at night. The surrounding area is a residential area, so please be considerate of the neighbors. ・ Upon arrival, please check the notes file on the table. ・ Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions. ■ About reservations This facility is not suitable for those seeking modern comfort. Please book only if you can enjoy the inconveniences unique to old private houses and coexistence with nature. ■ About meals Only room accommodation is available. Meals are not provided, so please cook for yourself or eat out. ■ For guests from overseas ・ Please take off your shoes inside the building. ・ Staff and priests are only available in Japanese. Please note that we will use a translation site for messages and greetings. Other things to note The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood. Please refrain from making loud voices or sounds outdoors You can come and go freely on the second floor, but please do not climb on the beams or pillars. How to use the Irori fireplace ・ Because you will be handling fire, you need to be careful not to cause a fire. ・ Basically, please use the charcoal provided. ・ Using firewood or wood that is not dried will produce a lot of smoke. Please be careful as your clothes will smell of smoke. ・ If the smoke goes into the bedroom, it will smell on the bedding, so please close the doors around the Irori room before lighting the fire. ・ You can use the ingredients in the refrigerator in the fireplace. ・ Please do not cook meat or fish as it is not a BBQ. * Please understand that it is for warming and cooking ingredients. Please do not extinguish the fire with water, etc. after use. A charcoal extinguisher is provided, so please put in large charcoal and cover it. Small charcoal will naturally go out, so it's okay to leave it as it is. See the notes for more information. Please let us know if you have any questions. After use, never pour water on it. Put the large charcoal in the charcoal extinguisher, close the lid, and leave the small charcoal as it is. It will go out naturally.
