Captain's Retreat, Peterhead

Captain's Retreat is a hidden gem tucked away in the oldest part of Peterhead, the residential area of Roanheads. Close to the town's centre, the cottage offers guests the chance to enjoy the shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance, while still enjoying the peace and quiet of the Old Town. The cottage is also prime location to enjoy great walks around the coast, the Harbour and a very short drive from the Lido, the golf course and the Peterhead Prison Museum. The space Captain's Retreat is a warm, traditional cottage with three bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen/dining room. A large king bedroom and bathroom is on the ground floor, while two bedrooms are upstairs - a double bedroom and a twin room. The cottage enjoys great Wifi speed and offers guests the use of two smart TVs, and central heating. There an enclosed seating area at the entrance of the cottage and a parking space for one car at tbe door. The house has a doorbell camera at the main entrance. Guest access Guests of Captain's Retreat are able to park in front of the cottage and have access to both the front and back doors. Guests are best to use the main entrance through the wooden gate, which gives access to the main kitchen and patio area. The main bedroom is downstairs, the double and twin rooms are upstairs. Other things to note Captain's Retreat has access to an external secure garage lock-up which guests are welcome to use, should they need to secure any larger items, such as bicycles, motor cycles or water sports equipment. This is a garage located a short walk from the cottage, which has car access from the main street. We are pet friendly and would be happy for guests to bring along their well-behaved furry friends but ask your pets are kept downstairs, and off furniture/beds. The outdoor seating area/patio area is secure. We charge £20 per stay for your pets, additional cleaning charges may be requested if your pets are particularly hairy or messy.
