Frog Haven on Lake Bowen

More than just a lake house, Frog Haven has been designed for comfort, from the luxurious master suite to the 2 queen rooms, to the kitchen, we want you to feel like this is your home away from home. You can play on the water on one or more of our many Kayaks (waiver required), sit around a fire pit at night, or prepare a perfect meal in our well equipped kitchen. We hope you find this to be your home away from home. The space Lovely views of the lake from the porch or the private dock. They do draw down the lake in the winter so the views aren’t spectacular then. But winter time pricing reflects this. I designed kitchen so you can truly prepare meals, with a wide range of herbs and spices, a set of Anolon Advanced Pots and pans, an electric griddle, a blender, a mixer, and even a double basket air fryer. What can I say? I like to cook and wanted to create the kind of kitchen I would hope for in a vacation rental. Sometimes the owner has a boat at the dock. This is their personal use boat. You are welcome to bring your own boat, paddleboard or kayak when you come, but please be aware you will need to register with the lake warden at Anchor Park just about a mile from the house. If you are coming from out of state it would probably be cheaper to rent a pontoon boat locally than register your own boat. We do have several kayaks freely available to our guests. We only require a waiver for their use. You can fish right from the dock. In the summer months the water is warm and clean for swimming! Other things to note WE DO NOT DO LONG TERM (3+ month) RENTALS. Smoking is not permitted within 20 feet of the house. If you smoke, please be kind enough to clean up your butts. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with advance notice. There is a $50 fee for pets.
