A Step back in time. Mr Van Horn hand built this log home from timber and rock mined in the valley. There are wonderful hiking trails to the waterfalls. One block to store and restaurant. Short drive to Jenks Lake to fish. Drive up to Big Bear and Arrowhead lake. Then enjoy a night by the massive rock fireplace. Short drive to neighboring Redlands and Yucaipa. During snow, 4 wheel drive with chains will be necessary. New remolded bath and forced air heat! The Van Horn Inn 🌲🐻 The space The Van Horn Inn. A 1920 Historic log cabin. Parking for 3 and town only steps away. Close to all mtn activities and hiking to the waterfalls. Small private backyard. It’s super cozy!! This cabin is under new ownership and was loved by all , known as the CabInn. Come and enjoy what is so amazing here in Forest Falls!! 🐻🌲 Guest access This is just the cabin, not the garage Other things to note When it snows access will be denied without 4x4 or chains. There is no contained yard for dogs. No huge fires in fireplace. Small and cozy is best. Fires allowed Oct. thru April. Open front door to start the draft. The firewood is at hearth. If you need more they sell it at country market. There are bears that wander property… please don’t leave any food out in car as they will try to get it!
