It is situated on more than 70 acres of Maine woods and overlooks beautiful Clearwater Lake, a pristine, spring-fed lake in Industry, Maine. This tranquil spot offers natural beauty and a large variety of healthy exercise. People enjoy reading, relaxing and rejuvenating as well as hiking, swimming, boating, and fishing. Enjoy meals on the screened-in porch and watch for loons, ducks, hummingbirds and eagles. The space You can enjoy meals or your morning coffee on the screened in porch. On a cool evening, you might light a fire in the Franklin Stove. The kitchen area is well equipped with dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans and most anything you'll need to prepare and serve your meals. It includes a cooking surface, oven, microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom has a flush toilet, sink and shower. There is wireless high-speed internet service. Guest access There is private outside space in front of the cabin overlooking the lake. Swimming and dock space are shared. There is free parking on the property. Other things to note Many cultural activities are available at the University of Maine in Farmington, including the UMF Art Gallery. An extensive trail network provides recrational activities. Explore trails to find old wells, vernal pools, and scenic lookouts. Local trails include: Flint Woods -44 acres, Village woods - 43 acres, Horn Woods - 63 acres, and Willow Woods -28 acres. The Olin Richardson Tract -160 acres, a natural area maintained for the benefit of wildlife, also provides outdoor recreation for public use.
