Detached house with breathtaking mountain views and a spacious garden. Two self-contained apartments with private entrances offer privacy—perfect for 1–2 families, friends, or couples. The space Our spacious and newly built house has two apartments which are connected by a staircase. Each apartment has its own entrance door, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. First floor apartment: Master bedroom with queen-size bed and direct access to the garden and private bathroom. The second room is an office / guest room with sofa bed for one person (120 cm wide), wardrobe and desk and direct access to the garden. The living room has a desk, fireplace, large TV with internet access, sofa, two armchairs, wi-fi, games. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and microwave, dining table for 8 people and access to the terrace with large dining table for up to 16 people, barbecue, outdoor sink and two hammocks. Large garden with fruit trees and hummingbirds and other birds that visit us daily. Fire pit for campfires. Great view over the mountains to Quito. Upper apartment: has a bedroom with a queen-size bed and closet, a room with two single beds that can be separated (e.g. for two children), as a queen-size bed or as a corner sofa. The room has a large wardrobe and a TV with internet connection. There is a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and a dining table for 6 people. Instead of the 4th room, there is a large roof terrace with a view over the mountains as far as Quito and a seating area. An outside staircase leads from the terrace to the large garden. If you book for 5 or more people, you can use the whole house; if there are fewer people, please indicate which apartment you would like to use (upstairs or downstairs). Security: The settlement is constantly guarded by security guards and you must identify yourself at the gate. The security guards can be contacted by telephone around the clock. The property has 4 parking spaces on the premises, an electric gate, an electric fence, alarm system and doorbell with video screen. Shopping: There are 4 small stores in the settlement with the essentials. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away by car. Going out: There is a very good BBQ restaurant and bar in the settlement. Other restaurants and bars can be reached in a few minutes by car. Sport: From the house you can walk through the adjacent open space (park) on trails and observe local plants and bird species. The nearest gym is a few minutes away by car. There are marked cycle paths on the main road in direction to the estate. There are several beautiful hiking settlement and horse riding opportunities in the surrounding area, e.g. in the Pululahua crater. Children: There is a small children's playground on the settlement. The stairs in the house and from the terrace are secured with doors. A high chair or baby equipment can be provided if required. Pets: are allowed in the house, but not in the beds. The house is tiled and can be easily cleaned. Transportation: A bus stops directly in front of the settlement. In the settlement there is the possibility to contact a driver for excursions in the surroundings or to Quito. However, the easiest way to get around is by car. A bicycle is available. Excursions/surroundings: It takes about 45 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to the nearest large shopping center (El Portal), 10 minutes to the towns of Pomasqui (with a small historic center) and Mitad del Mundo. The accommodation is perfect as a “home base” to undertake various day trips or for a longer stay. It wonderfully combines the tranquillity and beauty of the mountains with the lively city of Quito and the mountain cloud forest, each 30-40 minutes away.
