Welcome to our charming modern farmhouse offering a relaxing stay in a perfect location, just minutes from the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan and the popular tourist city of Frankfort. Relax on the large front porch and enjoy the sunrise while sipping your morning coffee. Eat breakfast or lunch next door at the Lighthouse cafe or lunch/dinner just a short walk to the Mayfair Burger Bar and the Cabbage Shed. Walk or ride bikes to Frankfort in 10 minutes or drive there in less than 5 minutes. The space Experience privacy within our white picket fence surrounding the entire property, keeping your little ones safe and secure. Our beautiful manicured lawn offers both shade and sun throughout the entire day. Our outdoor patio features a gas grill next to an additional large area for campfires and star gazing. The Elberta Lighthouse features a large dining area and family room with plenty of comfortable seating for movie nights or sports games. We offer a full-service kitchen. There is one full bath and an additional half bath. The first floor primary bedroom features a king sized bed. The second first floor bedroom offers a queen bed and the upstairs bedroom includes two queen sized beds. Each bedroom has a dresser for clothing storage and luggage racks are also included in each room. Our newly remodeled house includes vinyl plank flooring, new windows, A/C, and a first-floor washer/dryer set. The parking area is ideal as we offer room for 4-6 cars and a boat trailer. We offer a large, dry locking shed to store your bikes, chairs, fishing poles, etc. during your stay. Outdoor enthusiasts- Hop on your bikes and enjoy the 22 mile-long Betsie Valley Trail, which extends from Frankfort to Thompsonville. Walk to the trailhead of the Elberta Dunes hiking trails just two blocks way and ascend to the glorious 360-degree view overlooking Lake Michigan and the Frankfort Lighthouse! Many fun activities await including swimming, beach walking, kayaking, boating, fishing, shopping, farm markets, restaurants, concerts….the opportunities are endless! Popular nearby destinations include the premier golf courses of Arcadia Bluffs and Crystal Mountain, Crystal Lake, Elberta Dunes, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Platte River, Stormcloud Brewing Company, Furnace Street Distillery, St. Ambrose Cellars, and Little River Casino.
