High Grange Lodge

Beautiful newly built Lodge which allows space for 4 guests 1 bedroom 1 sofa bed, bathroom , overlooking a large pond. Private access with ample parking. Large decked area, enclosed hot tub (available as an extra), picnic table with large fire pit, large dog walking area down the field when conditions allow. Very private and secluded. All electric in the lodge. Far reaching views to the Yorkshire Wolds. York is approx 10 miles, local village with a Co-op and pubs/restaurants is 2 miles away. The space High Grange Lodge is around a peaceful and secluded pond setting on a working farm with far reaching views across fields to the Yorkshire Wolds. It has its own private tarmac driveway . Hot tub is available for an extra fee of £35 per night ( minimum of 2 nights) with access from all doors on to decking leading to the covered hot tub which has outdoor lighting for evening use. The lodge has 1 bedroom with a double bed and full sized wardrobe with full length mirrors and sliding doors on to decking. Seperate bathroom and toilet. Bed linen and towels provided. Electric central heating. The open plan living dining room has a sofa bed which will sleep 2 extra guests if required. It has a Smart tv including Netflix, Amazon Prime and catch up channels. The lodge is fitted with a sounds system that you can play music from your phone (please see instructions on how to do this in our welcome book) The kitchen has a fridge, dishwasher. Also provided is pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and some complimentary tea and coffee. Sliding doors lead out onto the decking area giving access to the hot tub. Please bring your own towels and or robes for hot tub use. Please be aware the decking may become slippery in wet or icy weather conditions even though the decking has antislip strips applied. 1 well behaved pet permitted and we ask that you bring your own pet bed. Please do not let dogs roam unattended and pick up any mess left behind. Weather permitting there is a strip of grass area laid to walk the dog. Also plenty of lovely walks nearby. We ask that you restrict your dog to its own bed and not on the furniture or human bed. There is an outdoor picnic table and seating and a fire pit. Logs can be purchased for the fire pit. We charge £20 for a wheel barrow full, or the garage 3 miles up the road sell logs, as well as petrol and diesel. No disposable BBQ's permitted. As this is a working farm please be aware that machinery may be moving around, there is a 10 MPH speed limit up the tarmac drive. Guest access Access is through a metal gate at the bottom of a tarmac drive, the road splits two ways, the right hand entrance goes to the lodge the left hand entrance goes to other properties. The gate opens towards you, please leave enough room to let the gate swing open. Please close the gate after you come through it and when you leave. The gate has a sign on it saying High Grange Lodge, follow the signs to the car parking area. The lodge will be left open on your arrival with the key left for you. Other things to note Mimimum stay is 2 nights. <<<>>> We have compiled a list of places to eat and drink and places and sights of interest to visit which can be found in a folder inside the lodge. All dogs to be kept on a lead at all times and all mess to be cleaned up before departure. Please keep 2 metres away from the pond at all times. There is a life belt clearly visible. Please do not feed the fish. Please keep the lodge clean and tidy so it can be enjoyed by all. If there is any questions dont hesitate to ask. No littering
