Koltursey Cottage

The cottage is cozy and comfortable with everythink you might need for your stay. The cottage is located on a farm 18 km from Hvolsvöllur. The farm is 7 km from road nr 1. The view from the cottage is very beautiful. We have cats and a dog and horses on the farm. This is a very good spot to view the northern lights from late august-april if the sky is clear we can usually see them. The space The house is on one floor approx 45 square meters. 1 good bedroom with a 160x200 bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a seating area, there is coffee and tea available, there are also spices and oil for cooking. The bathroom has good shower and there is a washing machine and dryer available, the living room has a tv with netflix. The sofa can be put up as a sofa bed for 2 person. Other things to note The hot water is electrically heated so the hot water is limited and should be used sparingly. The tank fully heats again in 7-8 hours.
