The space A peaceful 3-bedroom, 2-bath getaway designed for comfort and relaxation. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living areas, and a large screened-in deck perfect for morning coffee or evening gatherings. The property features a concrete driveway ideal for ATVs & trailers, fenced-in backyard, spacious patio area, with room to unwind. Take in views of the small lake nearby and enjoy the quiet surroundings that make this retreat ideal for families, couples, friends, clubs and extended stays. Distance to attractions: Within 5 Minutes - There is a local supermarket (new owners) with a decent selection. Also nearby are fast food chain restaurants such as McDonalds, Taco Bell & Dunkin. There is also Dollar General Grocery a few minutes away. Within 15 to 20 Minutes - Visit a really neat little town called Melrose with good restaurants, small shops and Lake Sante Fe (open to the public). There are several fishing, kayaking, & hiking spots open to the public. Also, Hog Waller is great place to ride ATVs. There's also the Rodman Dam. Within 25 to 30 Minutes - Downtown Palatka is open for business. Many great restaurants and shops near the St. Johns River for all to enjoy. Also, you can take a trip up to Keystone Heights. Lots of good restaurants, shops and recreation. Less than 40 minutes from Gainesville and the University of Florida. Once you get back on Route 20, just head westbound (straight route). Guest access Access & Check-In Information Guests will receive a unique door code for the front door shortly before check-in through the AIRBNB APP. This code will automatically expire at the designated check-out time. Guests have full access to the home and yard during their entire stay. Please note that the detached utility shed is not part of the rental and is strictly off-limits to guests. For safety and security reasons, guest(s) may not enter the shed for any reason. Late Check-Out Policy Check IN Time: 4PM Check OUT TIME: 11AM SHARP *Unless approved in writing through the AIRBNB APP* Late check-out requests must be approved in advance and are always subject to availability. If approved, a fee of $40.00 will be charged for the first hour. Additional time beyond the first hour may be accommodated for an additional fee. This will be determined by the host at the time of the request. To ensure our cleaning team has adequate time to prepare the home for incoming guests, any check-out occurring more than 15 minutes past (i.e. 11:15 AM or after) the published check-out time (which is 11 AM Sharp) without prior approval will incur a minimum fee of $75.00. If guest(s) continue to stay past this time, additional fees will continue to be assessed. The amount assessed will be at the host's discretion. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide a great experience for all guests. Other things to note Pets Pets are welcome with payment of the required pet deposit at the time of reservation. For the safety of your pet, other guests, and local wildlife, pets must be kept on a leash or under your direct control whenever outdoors. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and for any damage or disturbances caused during their stay. As defined by applicable law, service animal(s) will not be assessed any fees. Please note that emotional support animals (ESAs), therapy animals, and comfort animals are not considered service animals and are subject to the property's standard pet policies, fees, and deposit requirements. Please help us keep this home enjoyable for everyone. To help us maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, please minimize mud, dirt, and debris tracked onto the screened porch and into the home. Families with Young Children Please note that Clifton Road Retreat is not equipped for infants or toddlers. We do not provide items such as a pack-and-play, outlet covers, baby gates, or children's toys. If you have specific needs for young children, please reach out before your stay. No need to bring water and ice - We got this covered! There's no need to bring bottled water. Clifton Road Retreat is equipped with a whole-home water treatment system and reverse osmosis drinking water available directly from the kitchen tap. An ice maker is also provided; however, guests planning gatherings or entertaining larger groups may wish to purchase additional bagged ice.
