It was originally built by Don Juan, a young man from Extremadura who, after living in different parts of the peninsula, Cuba and Lanzarote, settled permanently in Puntallana, where he started a family with Doña Paca. He was the village practitioner, dedicating his life to helping the people of the municipality, where they were very much loved. Even today, the oldest people in the village still know it as the house of Don Juan the practitioner. It is located in a quiet place, but close to everything. The village, where you can find services such as a supermarket, bars, pharmacy, health center, bank, bicycle rental, etc., is just a 3-minute drive away. Also a 2-minute drive away is the popular Municipal Market, which is full of life and atmosphere on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and offers, among other items, fresh local products. Since it's a flat area, if you prefer, you can go for a nice walk. If you don't have a vehicle, it's not a problem either, since the stop is on the main road, a few meters from the house.
