Grandpa’s Cozy Cabin on the Creek

Your group will be very comfortable in this welcoming home. Hang out on the deck that backs up to the creek, sip wine while you kick back on the swing, watch the ducks and geese come and go from the water, prepare a meal while chatting around the kitchen island, get a deep night’s sleep on the comfy beds, watch a movie together, or in your own room, take the canoe out on the creek, walk around the wooded neighborhood, gather around the dining table, so many options! The space This home belonged to our dad, and is where he lived out his last years. He loved sitting on the deck watching the geese and ducks. It a peaceful place especially suited for traveling professionals, medical personal, or digital nomads. It’s also convenient as a central place to meet up with family and friends in and around the area. The home is three miles from the Newton Medical Center campus, less than six miles to the Bethel College campus, and a short drive into town. Conveniently located off Highway 50 with easy access to Wichita, Hutchinson, McPherson, and many other small rural towns, all within a thirty minute drive. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. The homes are spread apart in a way that’ll make you feel very private and in your own little world. Dad would love knowing you are enjoying his safe, comfortable, and welcoming home. Guest access The entirety of the interior of the home, the huge front yard, the large back deck/patio, are all available and accessible to guests. The garage and office, which are separate from the interior of the home also with separate entrances, are not accessible to guests. Other things to note Weather permitting, you are welcome to use the canoe to go out on the creek, or the bike to ride around the neighborhood. There is a washer and dryer available for your use. The kitchen is well stocked with basics, small appliances, etc. If you don’t find what you need or want, give me a holler and I’ll help you find it or get it for you.
