Notes for full transparency: 1. though we have sealed the house, have a monthly organic exterminator spray, and our cleaner is top notch, you may still see some ladybugs. It’s the country. 2. our water heater is plenty for everyone to shower. But the gigantic 100 gallon tub can only fill halfway- still a nice bath but not perfect, our mistake for sure. Guest access The entire home, yard, pasture, hot tub, deck and patio are yours. Other things to note Five minute drive into Phoenicia town, Esopus Creek, the Town Tinker, Nest Egg shopping and our favorite hike, the Tanbark Loop. Fifteen minute drive to the famous Phoenicia Diner, excellent Route 28 market and the Ashokan Trail. Woodstock is about 25 minutes away- a great trip for shopping and dinner at Sylvia’s restaurant. We are set at the end of a dead end road (privacy!) that leads upwards through the valley. At the base of the valley, you can swim in the wide and rushing Esopus Creek and hike dedicated trails right along the road leading up to the house. This is a magical, rare, very special property.
