Shelby’s garden cottage.

Shelby’s cottage has been part of Bluffs on the bend farm for over 65 years. It has undergone a complete overhaul and update with all the modern conveniences while retaining a country cottage charm. It is the perfect getaway for a couple. The location is next to the historic ( originated in 1924 ) Kilbuck Bluffs Forest Preserve. While being nestled in the country it is centrally located to restaurants , bars and shopping. The space The cottage is located on our family farm adjacent to the main house. Bluffs on the Bend farm has been in our family for over 65 years. We have fruit trees and Honey bees 🐝. The property backs up to Kilbuck Bluffs Forest Preserve. We have a wonderful vegetable garden every spring and summer. Guest access During winter months guests only have access to the cottage. Other things to note Every guest is welcomed upon check in with freshly baked cookies. The cottage is stocked like a regular home. If someone needs a specific item I do my best to provide it in a timely manner.
