Lovely peaceful holiday retreat in the friendly village of Kirkby Malzeard with beautiful surrounding countryside set within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Our barn conversion is brand new and centrally located in the village near local amenities and the pub. Ideal for exploring Nidderdale, Wharfedale and Wensleydale, Fountains Abbey and local towns of Ripon, Masham, Harrogate and York. Beautifully restored detached barn conversion in rural setting, completed to the highest specification. The space This is a single storey house that has been converted in 2024 from a farm building and is modern and meets all current building regulations. It is detached and in a quiet location on its own but is a few minutes walking distance of all the village facilities and many footpaths and bridleway in the vicinity. The open plan living area opens out through French doors onto the adjoining patio and countryside. A modern fully equipped handmade kitchen includes range cooker with induction hob, fridge freezer, full dishwasher, microwave and dining area. There is a wood burning stove with logs provided and TV. The main bedroom looks out onto the paddock and has a king size bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and both rooms are adjacent to the bathroom. The bathroom has a separate bath and walk in shower. There is an additional toilet in the utility room. The property has underfloor heating, solar panels and an air source heat pump. Outside there is a dining area overlooking the garden and in the evenings it is perfect for viewing the night sky without any light pollution and listening to the owls. Guest access There is easy access to the house and 6m from the drive and parking area to the entrance door. The garden and paddock are in front of the property. The owners also use the paddock but no animals live there. Parking is available onsite directly next to the house for up to 2 cars. Other things to note There is a trundle bed that can be used for an additional child on request.
